마지막 감사나누기는 선교사님들이 보내 오신 감사의 인사입니다. 이번에 비전 트립에서 만나뵈었던 페루의 홍종애 선교사님의 얼굴을 다시 뵈니 너무 반갑네요. 튀르키에의 탁요셉 선교사님은 아프카니스탄 국기 앞에서 아프간 남자들이 많이 두루는 목도리로 꾸미시고 소식을 전해 주셨습니다. 이빌립 선교사님은 저희가 마련해 드린 차량이 이번에 6명의 탈북인 여성들을 구출하는데 쓰여졌다는 기쁜 소식을 전해 주셨습니다. 강영철 선고사님의 Amerasian Christian Academy 에서 저희가 보낸 장학금으로 공부하고 있는 이미아 학생은 마지막에 중국어로 Happy Thanksgiving 이라 인사를 해 주었네요. 얼굴과 목소리를 들으니 더욱 친근한 마음으로 기도할 수 있을 것 같습니다.

The final “Sharing of Thanks” comes from the missionaries who sent us their words of gratitude. It was such a joy to see again the face of Missionary Jong-ae Hong in Peru, whom we met during the recent vision trip. Missionary Joseph Tark in Türkiye sent his greeting while standing in front of the Afghan flag, dressed in the scarf commonly worn by Afghan men. Missionary Philip Lee shared the wonderful news that the vehicle our church provided was used this time to rescue six North Korean defector women. At Amerasian Christian Academy, where Rev. James Kang serves, the student Mia Lee — who is studying with the scholarship fund we provided — closed her message by saying “Happy Thanksgiving” in Chinese. Seeing their faces and hearing their voices makes us feel even closer to them and encourages us to pray with a warmer heart.
