산토스형제를 보내고… 쩌이머씨! (예수승리) 청년의 삶을 예수님을 위해 불꽃처럼 살았던 산토스형제는 그토록 사랑하는 예수님 품으로 돌아갔습니다. 정말 많은 분들이 장례식에 찾아와 주셨고 모두 산토스형제를 그리워했습니다. 막상 산토스형제가 눈을 감으니 이제 볼수 없고, 그동안 더 잘해주지 못해 미안한 마음에 하염없이 눈물이 흘렀습니다. 남은 재는 이곳에 남은 청년들이 들고 북인도 카쉬미르로 가져갑니다. 산토스형제가 1년동안 선교사역을 했고, 또 다시 선교사로 파송되어 나가길 희망했던 그 땅에 뿌려집니다. 하나님께서 오랜 전쟁으로 상처와 고통이 가득한 카쉬미르 땅에 30,60,100배의 부흥을 주실것입니다. 딤후 4:7-8: "나는 선한 싸움을 싸우고 나의 달려갈 길을 마치고 믿음을 지켰으니 이제 후로는 나를 위하여 의의 면류관이 예비되었으므로 주 곧 의로우신 재판장이 그 날에 내게 주실 것이며 내게만 아니라 주의 나타나심을 사모하는 모든 자에게도니라" 선한 싸움을 싸우고 끝까지 믿음을 지킨 산토스형제는 성공한 인생입니다. 이제 이곳에 남은 저희들도 끝까지 믿음의 경주를 완주하여 승리할수 있기를 소망합니다. 세례식 히말라야 강가로,,,, 다음주 월요일은 저희교회 성도님 6명의 세례식이 있습니다. 할렐루야! 지금까지 세례교육을 받으며 예수님을 영접하고 세례식을 기대하고 있습니다. 우리안에 슬픔도 있지만 하나님께서 큰 기쁨을 교회 공동체에 주시니 감사하며 우리도 천국소망을 꿈꾸며 우리의 짧은 삶을 예수님과 복음을 위해 드리길 다짐합니다. 오랜시간 산토스형제와 교회를 위해서 기도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 우리는 부활의 소망을 가진 그리스도인 입니다. 반드시 승리할 것입니다! +++++++++ Jai Masih! (Victory in Jesus) Brother Santos, who lived his youthful life like a blazing fire for Jesus, has returned to the arms of the Lord whom he so deeply loved. So many people came to his funeral, and everyone missed him dearly. Now that his eyes are closed, we can no longer see him, and tears flowed endlessly with sorrow and regret that we had not done more for him while he was with us. His ashes will be carried by the young people remaining here to Kashmir, North India—the land where Santos had served as a missionary for a year, and the place where he hoped to be sent again as a missionary. His ashes will be scattered there. We believe that God will bring a harvest of thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold revival in Kashmir, a land scarred and burdened by long years of war and pain. 2 Timothy 4:7–8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” Brother Santos, who fought the good fight and kept the faith until the end, lived a successful life. We who remain here also hope to finish our race of faith to the very end and claim the victory. Baptism by the River in the Himalayas… Next Monday, our church will have the baptism of six believers. Hallelujah! They have been preparing through baptism classes, have welcomed Jesus into their hearts, and are eagerly looking forward to the service. Although there is sorrow among us, God has granted great joy to our church community. With thanksgiving, we also dream of the hope of heaven and resolve to dedicate our short lives to Jesus and His gospel. Thank you for praying for Brother Santos and for our church for such a long time. We are Christians who hold to the hope of the resurrection. We will surely overcome!

강영철 선교사님께서 기쁜 소식을 전해 주셨습니다. 저희가 보낸 장학금으로 공부하게 될 학생이 결정되었다는 소식입니다. 학생 이름은 이미아, 학년은 11학년입니다. 미아의 부모님은 C국에서 지하교회 사역을 감당하고 계신데, 선교사님인 부모님이 위험해질 경우 미아도 안전할 수 없기에 다른 선교사님의 소개로 ACA에 와서 공부를 하게 되었다고 합니다. 현재 기숙사에서 머물면서 열심히 공부하고 있으며 앞으로 미국 유학도 꿈꾸고 있다고 합니다. 앞으로 계속해서 미아 학생과 부모님을 위해서 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다! Missionary Rev. James Kang has shared joyful news with us. We have received word that the student who will be studying with the scholarship we sent has been selected. The student’s name is Mia Lee, and she is in the 11th grade. Mia’s parents are serving in an underground church in Country C. Since her missionary parents could be placed in danger, Mia’s own safety could not be guaranteed. Through the introduction of another missionary, she came to ACA to continue her studies. She is currently living in the dormitory, studying diligently, and even dreaming of studying abroad in the United States in the future. We ask for your continued prayers for Mia and her parents. Thank you!

쩌이머씨!(예수승리)~~ 안녕하세요. 늘 미국에서 기도와 사랑으로 섬겨주시는 목사님과 성도님들께 감사드립니다. 그 은혜로 네팔에서 주님 사역을 감당하고 있습니다.~^^ 산토스형제도 많이 궁금해 하실텐데요. 저희는 웃고 울고를 반복하며 지내고 있습니다. 열방은혜교회에 매 주 새신자 분들이 오고 계시고, 어린이 예배도 시작했습니다. 하나님께서 새 영혼들을 보내주시니 기쁨이 교회에 있습니다. 교회 마당에 심은 야채들을 성도님들이 따서 집으로 가져 가시고. 이번달 말에 6명의 영혼들에게 세례를 주기 위해서 교육도 하고 있습니다. 할렐루야!! 강에 가서 다같이 침례를 하려합니다. 이런 기쁜 소식도 있는데 산토스형제로 인해 교회에 슬픔도 있었습니다. 산토스형제는 그동안 입, 퇴원을 반복하고 있었습니다. 지난주부터 컨디션이 많이 안 좋아서 더이상 항암치료는 안 하기로 결정을 했습니다. 현재는 산토스형제에게도 자세한 상황을 설명해 주었습니다. 지금은 교회에서 지내며 수액과 영양제를 병원에서 사오고 홈케어 간호사분이 같이 지내며 약을 놓아주고 있습니다. 배에 복수가 많이 차있고 손 발에 부종과 암이 전신에 퍼져 특히 허리와 다리쪽 통증으로 마약 진통제 주사를 맞고 있습니다. 아직 정신은 그래도 괜찮은데 입으로 못 먹은지 한 달이 넘어서 살도 많이 빠진 상태입니다. 저희도 산토스형제의 삶에 하나님께서 가장 선하신 길로 인도해 주시길 저희는 모여서 철야로 기도하고 있고 말씀통독을 다같이 하며 기도하고 있습니다. 멀리 미국에서 이렇게 기도해 주셔서 진심으로 감사합니다. 저희도 이 고난을 통해서 더욱 주님 앞에 나아가고 있으니 이 또한 하나님께서 저희를 향한 계획이 있음을 고백하고 있습니다. 감사합니다. ++++++++++ “Jaimasi!” (Victory in Jesus!) Greetings in the Lord. We want to sincerely thank our pastor and all the members in the U.S. who continually support us with prayer and love. By that grace, we are carrying on the Lord’s ministry here in Nepal. I know many of you have been wondering about Brother Santos as well. Our days are filled with both tears and joy. Each week, new people are coming to Grace for the Nations Church, and we have also started children’s worship. There is great joy in the church as God sends new souls to us. The congregation is also blessed by the vegetables grown in the church yard, which they can harvest and take home. At the end of this month, we are preparing six brothers and sisters for baptism. Hallelujah! We plan to go to the river together for the baptism service. But along with this good news, there has also been sorrow because of Brother Santos. He has been in and out of the hospital repeatedly, and since last week his condition has worsened. The decision has been made to stop chemotherapy. We have explained the situation to him, and he is now staying at the church. We purchase IV fluids and nutritional supplements from the hospital, and a home-care nurse stays with him to administer the medication. He has severe ascites in his abdomen, swelling in his hands and feet, and the cancer has spread throughout his body, causing especially strong pain in his back and legs. He is receiving morphine injections for the pain. Although his mind is still clear, he has not been able to eat for over a month, has lost much weight, and is very weak. Together as a church, we are holding all-night prayer meetings and reading the Word, interceding that God will guide Brother Santos on the path of His perfect goodness. We are truly grateful for your prayers from so far away in America. Even through this suffering, we are drawing nearer to the Lord, and we confess that God has a plan for us in all these things. Thank you once again.

쌀롬~ 여름동안 있었던 행사들에 대해 좀 더 자세한 보고와 기도제목을 드리고자 합니다 1. 청소년 & 청년 수련회 수련회 이후 참석했던 청소년& 청년들에게 좋은 변화가 일어나고 있습니다. S 도시의 청년 3명이 예수님을 영접했습니다. K 도시의 1명은 대학에 합격했다는 소식입니다. A 도시의 청소년들도 더욱 예배를 섬기는 일에 적극 동참하고 있다고 합니다. 청소년 & 청년들이 다음세대를 이어갈 중요한 신자들이 되도록 기도해주시고, 이슬람에서 태어나 당연히 이슬람의 종교를 따를수 밖에 없는 이들이 새로운 기독교 2세대가 되어가고 있음에 감사하며 믿는 성도들의 자녀들이 계속 변화되고 믿음안에서 자라가도록 기도해주세요 2. 단기팀: 여름성경학교 사역과 세례지원 여름성경학교에 참여했던 가정중 믿지않던 가정들이 새로 교회에 나오고 있습니다. 이들이 교회를 통해 하나님의 구원과 사랑을 알아가고 교회의 일군들이 되는 성장이 있도록 기도해주세요. 세례 받은 3명의 교인들이 세례를 통해 모이기를 더 힘쓰고 예배와 기도와 성경공부를 통해 계속 지속적인 성장이 있도록 기도해주세요. 3. 단기팀: 의료사역 Z 도시의 개척을 위해 의료 사역이 중요한 역할을 하였습니다. 흩어졌던 성도들이 다시 모이게 되는 계기가 되어 구체적인 예배 모임이 시작되고 성도들을 통한 전도가 활발히 일어나기를 기도해주세요. 또한 많은 성도들이 유럽으로 밀입국으로 나가게 되며 성도수가 많이 줄어든 K 도시도 이번 의료사역팀을 통해 사람들을 모으는 계기가 되고 사역자들이 많은 위로와 격려를 받았습니다. 소망가운데 계속 믿음으로 사역하는 이들이 되도록 기도해주세요. 4. 2개월간 여름방학 특별 영어 수업을 캐나다의 오한나 대학생의 자원봉사로 잘 마쳤습니다. 일주일에 두번씩 온라인 수업해주셨는데 아이들의 참석이 들쑥날쑥하고 시차가 있음에도 불구하고 오 한나 자매님의 헌신적인 수고로 아이들에게 즐겁고 유익한 시간이 되었고 이 아이들을 매개로 부모님들도 더 교회에 열심히 나오는 계기가 되었습니다. 영어를 배운 학생들도 계속 배움에 대한 열의를 가지고 학교 수업도 잘 감당해 나가도록 & 부모님들이 아이들을 더욱 주님의 사랑과 말씀으로 잘 양육하는 부모님들이 되도록 기도해주세요. 5. 9월은 도시개척에 집중하고자 합니다 새로운 사역자 후보생들을 발굴하고 사역자가 부재인 도시들을 계속 방문하며 남은 성도들을 찾고 격려하며 다시 허물어졌던 곳을 보수하는 시간들을 가지려고 하는데 주님이 길을 열어주시도록 기도해주세요 6. 출장중 탁부장의 자동차가 사고로 수리가 필요한 상황입니다. 밤에 주차해 둔 사이 트럭이 후면을 박아 트렁크쪽이 많이 찌그러진 상태라 수리가 필요한데 잘 해결되어지고 지방 출장 다니는 일정에 맞추어 수리가 잘 되도록 기도해주세요. 7. 난민증이 속속들이 거절되고 있어 사역자들과 성도들에게서 밀입국을 위한 혹은 변호사 선임을 위해 혹은 갑작스런 사고나 수술등으로 재정적인 요청이 끊이질 않는데 저희가 주님의 마음과 지혜로움으로 주어진 재정을 사용하고 필요한 재정들이 잘 채워지도록 기도해 주세요. 8. 저희 부부의 건강을 위해 기도해주세요. 유난히 길고 더운 여름이었는데 지치지 않도록, 그리고 탁부장의 팔꿈치와 다리회복을 위해 기도해주세요 ( 팔꿈치에 물이 찬것처럼 보이고 다리는 걸을때 통증이 많습니다) 치료를 위한 적절한 병원이나 의사를 잘 만날수 있도록 기도해주세요. 감사합니다! +++++++++++++++ Shalom! We would like to share a more detailed report on the events that took place over the summer, along with prayer requests. 1. Youth & Young Adult Retreat After the retreat, many positive changes have been seen among the youth and young adults who attended. In City S, three young adults accepted Jesus Christ. In City K, one student received the news of being accepted into college. In City A, the youth have become more active in serving in worship. Please pray that these youth and young adults will become strong believers who carry the faith into the next generation. We are thankful that those born into Islam—who naturally would have followed the Islamic faith—are now becoming part of a new, second generation of Christians. Pray that the children of believers will continue to be transformed and grow in faith. 2. Short-Term Team: VBS & Baptism Ministry Some families who did not previously believe began attending church after participating in Vacation Bible School. Pray that they may come to know God’s salvation and love through the church, and that they will grow into faithful workers in the body of Christ. Also, three people who received baptism are now more eager to gather for worship. Pray that they will continue to grow steadily through worship, prayer, and Bible study. 3. Short-Term Team: Medical Ministry Medical ministry played a key role in the church planting effort in City Z. It became an opportunity for scattered believers to come together again, leading to the start of concrete worship gatherings. Pray that evangelism through these believers will become more active. In City K, where the number of believers has decreased greatly because many left for Europe as undocumented migrants, the medical mission also helped bring people together. The workers there received much encouragement and comfort. Pray that they may continue to serve faithfully with hope. 4. Special Summer English Program For two months, we were blessed by the volunteer service of Hannah Oh, a university student from Canada, who taught special online English classes. Twice a week she faithfully held classes despite time differences and irregular attendance from the children. Thanks to her dedication, the children enjoyed meaningful learning, and through them, their parents also became more active in attending church. Pray that the students who learned English will keep their passion for learning and do well in school, and that their parents will raise them faithfully in the love and Word of the Lord. 5. September Focus: Church Planting This month, we are focusing on church planting. We plan to: (1) Identify new ministry candidates, (2)Continue visiting cities without pastors, (3) Seek out and encourage remaining believers, (4) Rebuild places where the work has broken down. (5) Please pray for the Lord to open the way. 6. Car Accident During a business trip, Brother Tak’s car was damaged in an accident. A truck hit the rear of the parked car at night, leaving the trunk area badly dented and in need of repair. Please pray that the situation will be resolved smoothly and that the repairs will be completed in time for his upcoming trips. 7. Financial Needs Refugee IDs are increasingly being denied, which has led to constant financial requests from both workers and believers—for migration attempts, hiring lawyers, sudden accidents, or surgeries. Pray that we will use the Lord’s resources wisely and that the necessary funds will be provided in due time. 8. Health Concerns Please pray for our health as a couple. It has been an unusually long and hot summer, and we pray for strength to not grow weary. Pray especially for Brother Tak’s recovery—his elbow seems to have fluid buildup, and his leg causes significant pain when walking. Please pray that he can meet the right doctor and receive the proper treatment. Thank you for your faithful prayers and support!

옥토 장학재단(이사장 원성웅)은 지난 7월 17일부터 30일까지, 인도 – 북한의 선교 연합을 위해 활발한 활동을 했습니다. 인도 뭄바이의 마히마 기독 국제학교에서, 교장선생님을 비롯한 세 분의 교사(사리따, 수지, 로제타)와 한 학생(잔위)을 초대해서 북한 선교의 현장에 투입한 것입니다. 탈북민, 북한 배경 학생들을 위한 ‘하늘꿈 학교’는 지난 2012년부터 영어통일캠프(EUC)를 진행해 오고 있습니다. 올해는 31개국에서 모인 젊은이들이 탈북 청소년들과 함께 복음과 통일을 꿈꾸며 깊은 교제와 은혜의 시간을 가졌고, 그중 인도에서 온 인원들 (+ 한국에서 합류한 류은형 전도사, 원석정 & 원송정)의 참가비는 옥토 장학재단에서 지불된 것이었습니다. 에어피까지 포함해서요. 그들은 함께 일주일간 연천의 아름다운 자연 속에서 주님을 만나고, 북한 동포들과 교제하며, 휴전선 너머를 바라보며 예배했습니다. 기독교(복음), 민주주의(자유), 시장경제(풍요)가 저 이북 땅으로 전진할 날을 함께 꿈꾸었지요! 이번 영어통일캠프에는 이스라엘에서 온 메시아닉 쥬이시(예수님을 믿는 유대인들) 뿐 아니라, 팔레스타인에서 온 크리스천 청소년들도 함께 했습니다. 또 선교사가 되기를 결심하고 ‘헤브론 원형학교’에 입학한 학생들, 다음세대 선교사들도 스물 두 명이나 참여했습니다. 모두가 하나되는 귀한 시간이었습니다. 또 인도에서 온 마히마 학생 잔위는 정식으로 예수님을 영접하고, ‘이제는 크리스천의 정체성으로 살게 되었다!’며 진심으로 행복한 이후 일정들을 보내기도 했습니다. 그렇게 영어통일캠프는, 서로가 서로에게 복이 되고, 사랑이 되는 행복한 시간이었습니다! 그곳에는 남한과 북한이, 이스라엘과 팔레스타인이, 중국과 대만이, 러시아와 우크라이나가, 가장 사랑하는 땅 인도가 ... 그리고 31개국의 열방의 그리스도인들이 함께 했습니다. 한 주 동안의 영어 통일 캠프 후에도, 인도에서 오신 네 분의 손님들은 이 아름다운 대한민국의 곳곳을 방문하고, 또 은혜의 현장들을 다니며 남은 일정을 아름답게 소화했습니다. 이분들의 서울 관광을 위해 재정을 후원해 주신 숭의교회(이선목 목사님 시무)와 선한목자교회(김다위 목사님)께도 이 자리를 빌어 고마운 마음을 전합니다. 그리고 ‘히스토리아 캠퍼스’의 견학과 맛있는 식사를 제공해 주신 문정아 관장님도 정말 감사를 드립니다. 옥토 장학재단은, 매년 스물 네 명의 인도 마히마 학생들에게 신앙, 학업, 예체능 장학금을 수여합니다. 그리고 매해 인도인 교사와 학생들을 한국으로 초대해 영어 통일캠프를 섬기게 하고, 또 하늘꿈 탈북민 학교의 교사와 학생(혹은 졸업생)들을 인도 뭄바이로 초대해 선교에 동참할 기회를 주고 있습니다.(비록 올해는 원정하 선교사의 안식년으로 하늘꿈 인도행은 연기되었지만요.) 그 외에도 비정기적으로 여러 나라에서 학용품과 장학금 지원을 하고 있습니다. 저희는 계속 전진하겠습니다. 주님께서 힘을 주시기를! 홍해를 가르신 주님께서 휴전선의 얇은 철조망을 거둬 주시고, 하나님의 거룩한 백성들이 북으로, 대륙으로 달려가게 하시기를! 그 날, 인도와 남한과 북한의 젊은이들, 열방의 청년들이 하나 되어 복음의 파도 되게 하기를! 그 날이 오기까지, 계속해서 달리고, 또 달려 나가겠습니다. 기도 부탁드립니다! Sung-woong Won) actively participated in a mission partnership between India and North Korea from July 17–30. At Mahima Christian International School in Mumbai, India, the principal, three teachers (Sarita, Suji, and Rosetta), and one student (Janwi) were invited to take part directly in the field of North Korea mission. Since 2012, the Sky Dream School—a school for North Korean refugees and students with a North Korean background—has hosted the English Unification Camp (EUC). This year, young people from 31 nations gathered with North Korean refugee youth, dreaming of the gospel and reunification, sharing deep fellowship and God’s grace. The participation costs for the Indian guests (together with Korean participants Rev. Eun-hyung Ryu, Seok-jung Won, and Song-jung Won), including airfare, were covered by the Okto Scholarship Foundation. For a week, they experienced the beauty of Yeoncheon, encountered the Lord, shared fellowship with North Korean brothers and sisters, and worshiped while gazing across the DMZ. Together they dreamed of the day when Christian faith (the gospel), democracy (freedom), and a market economy (prosperity) would advance into North Korea. This year’s EUC was especially meaningful as Messianic Jewish youth from Israel (Jews who believe in Jesus) joined hands with Christian youth from Palestine. In addition, 22 students from the Hebron School of Missions—young people preparing to dedicate their lives as future missionaries—also participated. It was a precious time of becoming one family in Christ. Among them, Mahima student Janwi from India made a personal decision to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior, joyfully declaring, “From now on, I will live with a Christian identity!” She spent the remainder of her stay filled with genuine happiness. The EUC truly became a time when each participant was a blessing and love to one another. There, South and North Korea, Israel and Palestine, China and Taiwan, Russia and Ukraine, India, and believers from 31 nations came together as one in Christ. After the week-long camp, the four guests from India continued their journey, visiting various parts of Korea and experiencing sites of grace. We extend heartfelt thanks to Soongui Church (Rev. Sun-mok Lee) and Good Shepherd Church (Rev. David Kim) for sponsoring their Seoul tour. We are also grateful to Director Jung-ah Moon of Historia Campus for generously providing both a tour and a delicious meal. The Okto Scholarship Foundation annually awards 24 Mahima students in India with scholarships for faith, academics, and the arts. Each year, Indian teachers and students are invited to Korea to serve in the English Unification Camp, while teachers, students, or graduates of Sky Dream School are invited to Mumbai, India, to join in mission work. (Though this year, due to missionary Jung-ha Won’s sabbatical, the Sky Dream trip to India was postponed.) In addition, the Foundation provides school supplies and scholarships to various countries as needs arise. We will keep pressing forward. May the Lord strengthen us! Just as He parted the Red Sea, may He remove the thin barbed wire of the DMZ, so that God’s holy people may run northward, across the continent! On that day, may the youth of India, South Korea, and North Korea—and young people from every nation—rise together as a great wave of the gospel. 주님의 사랑으로 이곳에서 선교사역은, 현제 27 분의 주님의 사람들을 10 분의 스템진들과 함께 맡겨주신 27 분들을 지혜롭게 잘 섬겨서, 선교상담의 도구들과 기술들과 말씀을 접목해서, 말레지아, 현지교회와, 노르웨이, 덴마크, 그리고 카나다와 한국에, 우리 선교훈련생 학생들이 잘 섬길수 있도록 기도를 부탁드립니다. 1) 선교팀의 연합과 계속적인 주를 향한 감사와 예배속에, 사역의 진행과 방향가운데, 성령님의 역사가 매일 일어나도록 2) 모든 선교사 훈련생들과 스탠진들의 마음이 주님의 마음을 사모하여, 사역지를 향하여 잘 준비가 되어질수 있도록 3) 학생들중 안니타 (짐바부아 태어나서 Norway ???????? passport 선교사)의 학비가 신실하게 채워주시도록, 그리고 미국 사라, 사만다 (로스와 아텔)을 위해서 기도를 부탁드립니다. 그리고, 이곳 선교지에서 지금 절실하게 필요를 두고 기도하고 있습니다. 2002년형 토요타 중고차를 주님의 축복하심으로 구입해서 올해 8 년째 은혜가운데 잘 사용하고 있었습니다. 그동안 이 차량이 주님의 발이되어서 코나 현장사역과 현지인사역을 위해서 열심히 사용되었는데, 너무나 많이 고쳐사용 한 가운데 이제는 더 이상 고쳐서 사용할 상황이 되지않아서, 새로운차량을 두고 주님께서 공급해주시도록 기도하고 있습니다. 9 월달 안에 속히 공급이 되어지도록 (간절하게) 기도를 부탁드립니다. 주님의 은혜로 차량을 위해서 구하고 있는재장은 3만 5천불 입니다. 이것이 가능하지 않을겨우엔 1만 5천불울 주실 경우에 디파지를 (리스를) 하고선 3 년간 계약을 해서 사용하면서, 나머지는 매달 지불하는것으로 (매달 차량선교현금 $350-450) 보험료까지) 해주실 수 있는 몸된 교회 헌신자님들을 주시도록 기도하고 있답니다. 현재 주 성령님께서 (함께 기도하시는 분들 한국과 미국) 모아주신 차량 선교 현금은 $2200이며, 최연자 권사님께서 $500, 총 $2700 이 채워진 상태입니다 . 이 얼마나 감사한 일인지요! 할레루야! 계속적으로 주님의 신실한 산 소망을 보며, 선교지에서주님께 큰 영광을 올려드릴 수 있도록 기도를 부탁드립니다. 주님과 함께 동행하시며, 항상 선교 현장의 사역을 위해서 열심을다해서 주의 사랑으로 수고해 주시고 섬겨주신 은혜, 깊이 감사를 드립니다. 주님께 그 모든 영광을 올려 드립니다. 사랑하고 축복합니다. 살롬, 살롬, 감사합니다! ++++++++++++ Mission Report “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah 4:6) By the grace and love of our Lord, the ministry here continues to grow. God has entrusted us with 27 missionary trainees, together with 10 dedicated staff members. Our prayer is to serve them with wisdom—equipping them with tools of missionary counseling, ministry skills, and the Word of God—so that they may be sent out to serve faithfully in Malaysia, the local churches here, and in nations such as Norway, Denmark, Canada, and Korea. Prayer Requests Unity and the Spirit’s Leading Please pray that our mission team will remain united in continual thanksgiving and worship, and that the Holy Spirit’s work will be evident each day as we discern the direction of the ministry. Prepared Hearts for Service Pray that every trainee and staff member will long for the heart of Christ, and that they will be well prepared for the mission fields to which God is sending them. Provision for Students Anita (born in Zimbabwe, serving as a missionary with a Norwegian passport): that her tuition needs will be faithfully met. Sarah and Samantha from the U.S. (Ross and Atel): for God’s provision and blessing in their journey. Urgent Need: A Mission Vehicle For the past eight years, we have been using a 2002 Toyota—truly the “feet of the Lord” for this ministry. It has carried us to Kona for fieldwork, supported local outreach, and been a vital part of serving the people here. However, after countless repairs, the car has finally reached the end of its use. We are now praying for God’s provision of a new vehicle. Our hope is to raise $35,000 for a replacement. If that is not possible, with $15,000 as a down payment we could enter into a three-year lease, covering the remaining balance with monthly payments of $350–$450 (including insurance). We are praying for faithful partners in the Body of Christ to help meet this urgent need. Already, through the prayers and generosity of brothers and sisters in Korea and the U.S., the Lord has provided $2,700 toward this need ($2,200 in mission vehicle funds plus $500 from Exhorter Choi Yeon-Ja). 쌀롬~ 이상기온으로 인한 피해가 속출하는거 같습니다. 주님의 특별한 보호하심이 있으시기를 기도합니다???? 1. 지난주 방문한 단기팀이 여름성경학교 사역과 세례식과 가정방문 사역을 은혜와 기쁨가운데 잘 마쳤습니다. 유난히 더운 여름인데 선풍기 하나 없는 곳에서 9명의 단기팀이 20명 넘는 아이들과 그들의 부모님들까지 케어해주고 프로그램을 진행하여 너무나 기쁘고 행복한 시간을 가졌습니다. 이를 계기로 교회가 하나되고 전도하는 것에 큰 도움이 되었습니다. 또 K 도시에서 3명이 세례를 받았고 담당 사역자도 전도와 교회 강화에 더 힘을 얻게 되었습니다. 계속적으로 A도시와 K 도시에 열매가 맺혀가도록 기도해주세요. 2. 저희 부부가 월요일 인터뷰를 하고 하루만에 6개월 비자를 받았습니다. 이처럼 빠른 비자답변을 받은 적은 처음이라 저희모두 놀라고 감사했는데 요새같이 비자가 어려워진 상황에서 정말 놀라운 결과입니다. 주님이 허락하신 이 시간에 더욱 집중해서 잘 사역할수 있도록 계속 기도해주세요. 3. 북부 S 도시의 마쑤메 사역자가 며칠전 딸을 출산했습니다. 임신 도중 계속 몸이 안좋아 여러차례 입원을 하는등 어려움이 있었는데 산모와 아이가 모두 건강한 가운데 출산하였습니다. 산모가 잘 회복되고 아이도 주님의 보호하심 가운데 잘 성장하도록 기도해주세요 4. 서부의 M 도시의 미카엘 사역자가 응급으로 스텐트시술을 받았습니다. 잘 회복되고 더 강건해져 맡겨진 삶을 충성되이 살아갈수 있게 기도해주세요 5. 각도시마다 많은 아프간 사람들이 밀입국으로 유럽으로 가기위해 도시를 떠나 사역적으로 어려운 시기이고 도중에 경찰에 잡혀 캠프 (수용소) 에 잡혀있는 가정들도 있습니다. 교회 사역자들이 열정을 잃지 않게 하시고 새로운 전도대상자들을 찾아 복음을 전할수 있도록, 교회에 새로운 구성원들로 다시금 교회들이 힘을 얻도록 기도해주시고 캠프에 구금된 성도들이 다시 잘 풀려나도록 기도해주세요. 6. 얼마전 아들을 병으로 잃고 상심해있던 N 도시의 쌰키네 자매가 오랜만에 주일 예배 모임에 참여했습니다. 한동안 믿음을 떠나있던 자매가 다시금 신앙을 회복하고 주님안에서 새로운 삶을 시작하도록 기도해주세요. 사역자가 없는 N 도시에 사역자가 세워지고 이들을 잘 목양할수 있도록 기도해주세요. Shalom~ It seems that abnormal weather conditions are causing much damage in various places. We pray for the Lord’s special protection over you. ???? 1. Last week, a visiting short-term mission team successfully completed ministries including Vacation Bible School, baptisms, and home visits with much grace and joy. In the unusually hot summer—without even a single fan—nine team members cared for and led programs for over 20 children and their parents, making it a truly joyful and blessed time. This became a great help in uniting the church and advancing evangelism. In K City, three people were baptized, and the local ministry leader has gained renewed strength for evangelism and building up the church. Please continue to pray for fruitful ministry in both A City and K City. 2. On Monday, my wife and I had our visa interview and, in just one day, received a 6-month visa. We have never received a response this quickly—it was truly surprising and a blessing, especially in these times when visas are becoming more difficult to obtain. Please keep praying that we will focus fully on the work the Lord has given us during this time He has allowed. 3. In the northern city of S, ministry leader Masoumeh gave birth to a daughter a few days ago. She had faced many difficulties during pregnancy, including several hospitalizations, but by God’s grace, both mother and baby are healthy. Please pray for the mother’s full recovery and for the baby to grow well under the Lord’s protection. 4. In the western city of M, ministry leader Michael had an emergency stent procedure. Please pray for his full recovery and renewed strength to faithfully live out the life entrusted to him. 5. In many cities, large numbers of Afghans are leaving in hopes of entering Europe illegally. This has created ministry challenges, as some families are caught by the police en route and are detained in camps. Pray that church leaders will not lose their zeal, that they will find new people to reach with the gospel, and that churches will be strengthened with new members. Also pray for the release of believers who are currently detained in camps. 6. In N City, Sister Shakine—who had been grieving the loss of her son to illness—attended Sunday worship for the first time in a long while. She had drifted from the faith for some time, so please pray for her spiritual restoration and for a new life in Christ. Pray also that the Lord will raise up a ministry leader in N City to shepherd the believers there.

We are truly grateful for your great help. ~^^ At Nations Grace Church Last week, we hosted a celebration for all the children in our neighborhood. Fifty children gathered at the church, and the joy was beyond words. They played soccer in the yard and enjoyed games inside the church. I don’t know if there’s ever been a time when the children in our village laughed so freely and loudly. It reminded me of my own childhood, when Vacation Bible School at church was filled with fun activities and delicious treats. By God’s grace, He has been sending more than five new visitors to Nations Grace Church every week. Hallelujah! Regarding Brother Santos Brother Santos was hospitalized due to sudden abdominal swelling and edema in his hands and feet. The doctors said cancer had spread to his peritoneum, causing intestinal adhesions. He has been on fasting with IV nutrition and has barely completed his first round of chemotherapy. After two weeks in the hospital, he will be discharged tomorrow. His strength has declined, and since he is unable to eat by mouth, he has been going through a very difficult time. We read the Word with him daily, and he is also reading the Bible. Please pray that the Lord will give Brother Santos unshakable faith and grant him healing. In the yard of Nations Grace Church We planted avocado and mango trees. Just as small seeds grow and yield thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold, we hope Nations Grace Church will likewise grow and expand God’s kingdom.
