지난 주일 네팔인들의 예배 공동체가 우리 교회에서 첫 모임을 가졌습니다.  콜로라도 스프링스에 사는 네팔 교인들이 그동안 각 가정을 돌아가며 비정기적으로 모임을 가져왔는데, 그 모임이 성장하면서 새로운 네팔인 교회를 생각하게 되었답니다.  그래서 예배를 드릴수 있는 교회 건물을 찾던 중 우리 교회를 찾게 되었고, 우선 한달에 한번정도 모임을 가지면서 네팔인 교회를 개척하는 길을 찾기로 했는데, 지난 주일 약 30여명이 모여 그 첫 모임을 우리 교회에서 가졌습니다.  사진은 미리 모임을 준비하기 위해서 일찍 나온 그룽 목사님 가정과 매리 성도님, 그리고 오로라 성도님입니다.  건물을 통해 섬길 수 있는 귀한 선교의 기회를 주신 하나님께 감사 드리며, 이 일이 귀한 열매를 맺을 수 있도록  여러분의 많은 기도를 부탁드립니다.

Last Sunday, the Nepali worship community held their first gathering at our church. For some time, the Nepali believers in Colorado Springs have been meeting irregularly, rotating between different homes. As their gatherings grew, they began to consider establishing a new Nepali church. In their search for a church building where they could hold services, they found our church. They decided to meet once a month for now, seeking a path toward planting a Nepali church. About 30 people gathered for the first time at our church last Sunday. The photo shows Pastor Gurung’s family, along with Mary and Aurora, who arrived early to prepare for the gathering. We give thanks to God for this wonderful opportunity to serve through our building, and we ask for your prayers so that this endeavor may bear fruitful results.
